We get to enjoy a lovely stretch of late summer weather before rain chances return to New Jersey later this week.

New Jersey will start Thursday with dry, pleasant weather, but heavy rain and strong thunderstorms could cause travel troubles by the evening commute.

Humidity is on the downswing again Wednesday, but another period of unsettled, occasionally inclement weather will affect outdoor plans starting Thursday.

Both Monday and Tuesday will end up close to 90 degrees, although I hesitate to call it "hot and humid" after last week's uncomfortable tropical and soupy air.
