The 23-year-old woman was strangled outside a busy hotel on West 46th Street, according to the NYPD. She died days later and the New Jersey man was arrested.

As forest fuels dry out following Sunday night’s rain and the main body of the fire continues to spread the fire’s size is expected to grow to at least 5,000 acres before reaching 100% containment.
The Jennings Creek Wildfire in West Milford is 10% contained after burning over 3,000 acres in New Jersey and New York State as of Monday morning, according to the NJ Forest Fire Service.
