If you’re anything like me, you love a good dipping sauce. In my opinion, for the most part it is preferable to the actual food you’re dunking.

McDonald's is rolling out a new sauce option starting July 21, and it sounds delicious.

McDonalds Caesar sauce is coming to New Jersey

We can agree that Caesar is the best dressing, right?

I mean, salad dressings like balsamic or Italian have their place, but let’s be serious, Caesar is beating them any day of the week.

Available July 21, McDonald’s will feature its new Caesar sauce.

They are describing it as a creamy, savory parmesan blend with a hint of lemon and garlic across that will be on three new chicken items:

⚫ Bacon Caesar McCrispy — a McCrispy filet topped with tangy Caesar-style sauce, thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon, shredded lettuce, Roma tomatoes, crispy onions, and crinkle-cut pickles on a toasted potato roll

⚫ Caesar Snack Wrap — a McCrispy Strip topped with shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, and the new creamy, savory Caesar sauce wrapped in a tortilla, nationally available for $2.99

⚫ McCrispy Strips with Caesar Sauce — now crispier McCrispy Strips, upgraded with new panko breading, paired with the new creamy Caesar sauce

Personally, when I go to McDonald's, I’m usually a buffalo sauce gal, but the thought of adding the Caesar Sauce to my McChicken is making my mouth water just typing this.

The sauce will be available at participating New Jersey restaurants.

Discontinued McDonald's items tell the story of eight decades of quiet experiments, from a pizza that took too long to cook to a lobster roll that never made financial sense. Some disappeared overnight with no explanation, others were cut to streamline operations, and a few became cultural phenomena long after they were gone.
